All,

I have done some searching, and this thread was the closest I could find: http://www.ozzu.com/ftopic42880.html

however, I don't think it will help me.

Basically, we have an existing site (e.g. http://www.mysite.com)

Registrar: http://www.rcomexpress.com/
Host: http://www.homes.com

We had a need for a separate project that required a separate host!

I'm trying to see if we can point http://subdomain.mysite.com to http://www.OurNewHost.com/~user/ without having to-do URL redirects or Frames.

Can this be done? I've been touching on the surface of CNAME records and/or the help of Apache? ... but the post above mentions WHM? (which I see NOWHERE from our current registrar's DNS setup page)

Can someone please help!

Thanks,

Mike

If you have control of the dns, you can forward the subdomain to the ip address (IF) it is a dedicated ip hosting account.

What kind of WHM software do you use? I personally use HELM and I can do that easily there.
