Hello everybody...

I am trying to convince a guy to sell me his domain. This guy insist to keep his domain but he doesn't care if I can redirect surfers to a new one.

Now, his root directory is empty. there is no homepage. his users are writing: http://www.domain.com/dir1/ http://www.domain.com/dir2/ and so on.

My question is :

If I am leaving his directories inside my site - is there is a way to redirect users exectly to the new doamin + the same directory? The only difference should be the doamin name.

Is it possible? and how can I make it happend...

Thanks for any help,
Guy.

Let me see if I got this straight...

You want to redirect:

domain1.com/dir1 to domain2.com/dir ?

If Im understanding this correctly - then yes, of course you can do this - obviously with permission from the owner of domain1 - depending which web hosting control panel they are using, they can set up these redirects straight from their control panel..

I apologize if I have misunderstood what you are trying to accomplish....

Offer him more money lol ... you can also ask him to add the redirect to an .htaccess file.
