Im sure most of the hosters here started with a reseller account. I was just wondering what you guys would recommend. All I need is something farly cheap at first, 10-15 a month. I know one plan that is

1 gig webpspace, 10 gig bandwidth for $10 but im not sure if that is really worth the space for the buck.

Great Question! First, a few notes.

Dreamhost crashed when the May 1st CSS Reboot launched. So yes, be aware of them. Their packages are also quote expensive.

LunarPages will give you crap if you try to run any Java or JSP on their servers even if you are paying extra for it.

I have been using http://www.virtuosonetsolutions.com/ for my reseller account for just over a year and the amount of stuff they provide is amazing. They support just about any language you can think of and they will give you SSH root access. I highly recommend them and my customers are happy with all the options they have.

The cost of reseller accounts is better in the beginning, but once your client base grows you can switch to a VPS solution for free, and then finally to a dedicated server when you are making a good money.

Have a look at http://www.hostgator-hosting.com

They have good reseller packages, but they might be abit over your budget. It's worth it though.

I would recommend hostgator. It has the best reseller plan I have ever used.
You will also find a great list at http://www.web-hosting-world.com
