Im interested in setting up my webserver to allow multiple sites and virtual hosts easily, and perhaps via some sort of control panel. (web based or other) -preferably web based, as i want to offer free hosting to people that have accounts under a certian MB

currently i have to go in by hand and set up the virtual host, as well as the directory in which the site is located.

i would like it to be done semi-automatically where i could just type the information into various fields in the "administration panel" of some sort.

ie, username, password, hd space, bandwidth, domain, etc...

my linux box is runing slackware.

We use cpanel for all our servers, you might want to check into it. I love it, and think its
the best control panel out there. Ensim is another, and Plesk as well.

Thanks for the links, although, a little out of my price range.

And after knowing what was out there (and actually what it was called) i managed to find something:

http://www.host4net.us

although not currently released, it will be offered as GPL - Free Software
