Thoughts on creating one's own free webhost.

What do you guys think about me setting up a free hosting service... I could have people who want an account email me with user/password and I'd set up an FTP account into a served folder so they'd have http://www.yushatak.com/USERNAME as their site. Think that's a good/bad idea? why? how can I improve it? (I'm just looking for a way to build a nice online community of people and data)
