Personally, the last time I used a free web hosting account was over 4 years ago. I suggest that when you are looking for hosting is to just pay for it. You just don't get the reliability and support when you go for free web hosting. There are many budget $1.99 host out there that would be able to help you out on this.

Paid hosting is definitely the way to go if you can afford it. You can get quality hosting and a domain for less than $5 a month. Don't drink coffee for a couple of days a month and you're set. :P

Free hosting is generally horrible since you get what you pay for. Expect constant downtimes and little or no support.

and like TomK said, for just a few dollars a month, you can get a hell of alot. if you dont pay for anything, you're not really going to get anything
