I've never heard of them before but the domain has been registered for almost 8 years. So they certainly seem to have been around for a while, which is a good thing.

Send them a email with some pre-sales questions and see how quickly and helpfully they respond. That will help give you a feel for their service. You can also ask for some domains they host so you can see how responsive they are.

http://www.whois.sc/ and enter their domain name.

I have to say though, dont always go by the length of registration on the domain name. Sometimes company names change and the service still continues under a new name. This is what we have done. Checking to see if they are a registered company also helps too.

I like harry's advice of calling them for information about their company and services. The service you receive will give you an idea of how they operate.

Hav eyou google'd them by any chance? "company name review" might bring up some info too.

Good luck!

This is true. It is also possible for a bad company to be around for years ... people don't like change. I can't tell you how many times I see people complain about the crappy service they got from their host 6/12 months ago. Yet they continue giving the crappy host their money, year after year, month after month. It's tantamount to Domestic Abuse and/or Battered Wife Syndrome.
