What's a good paid website

Hi. I have made several websites on free sites and I am wanting to find a good paid web host to use. I am looking for something pretty cheap [like hopefully around $10 or less per month] and I want to use it to learn and experiment with PHP and SQL and maybe other stuff for making a functional dynamic web site. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Also, I am not certain of the pros and cons between getting a Windows server or a UNIX/LINUX one [or whatever other options there are] and also I wonder which one of these would be better for the PHP and SQL stuff I want to learn or if this even makes much of a difference. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi mate, my servers have exactly what you need for a lot cheaper than you wanna pay. I will PM you with details, anymore info see my sig. As for the Windows Linux question i would say that for your needs a Linux server would do for you.

please search the boards for numerous posts on this subject, with countless replies for
hosting companies. all this does is give chance for spam.
