what a joke

So I was just working the traffic exchanges, right, and I see this banner ad. It reads something like "Top quality highspeed webhosting, 99.5% uptime, 250 MB space, 8GB bandwith, PHP, MySQL, etc." It doesn't mention a price, so I click on it...

I'm not going to embarras them by telling you their name, but I received the following error message:
The connection was refused when connecting to *******.*****.***

Just to make sure, I came back in 2 hours and tested the site again...same problem!

Yeah that's pretty slack if they wanted to make a good impression!

typical of 50-75% of hosts out there, many never make their so called guarantees...

True, but there are many new ventures which offer incredible features, that they follow up on, but they are on no Internet backbone, I've even seen some on a bare T3! rofl that's why it was only $3 a month for 3 gigs of space, 100 gigs of bandwith!
