Uh, are you really trying to set up DNS without knowing anything about DNS?

Wow.

An 'A' record is a DNS Address resource record that maps a host's name to its address. It specifies the Internet Protocol address (in dotted decimal form) of the host. There should be one A record for each host address.

actually i m having a site called http://www.a.com which is hosted and running well.

i have another domain name http://www.b.com, i want that if someone open this http://www.b.com they go to http://www.a.com

i have only one option in my domain control pannle that is change A Record, change Max Record

so i m thinking if i change the A record i can open site http://www.a.com when i type http://www.b.com
