what's the best free domain?

hey guys, another newbie checking in.
i've been searching this forum all over for answers to this, but I'm afraid nothing is quite exact, accurate or updated. it's a bit more professional than needed

so i was wondering, do u guys know of a good free domain name host? I am the webmaster for a game clan. we use free web hosting, and it's ok. no banners, lotsa space and all that. so the host is ok. but the url they give us is really... well, annoying. we'd like a simple link to our site. Free, that is

we visited Dot TK and have a domain name there. http://www.buzzclan.tk
however, our php-nuke site has a problem when accessed via .tk link. some of us can't log in, while for others, it works just fine. so we decided to try to find another free domain, similar to Dot TK.

so i was wandering, can u guys recommend any freebies? either free domain names, or even hosts, with no banners and php support (we got one, so don't tell me there's no such thing, try http://www.free.fr (it's in frech))
we'd settle for a host like that that would give us a direct link in the shape of http://www.buzzclan.xx.xx or anyway, something short, and barely notice-able.
I hope u people know more about these than me, cuz I've been sweeping da internet for quite some time now, and other than .tk or .co.nr we haven't found any. and .co.nr is outta service now. any other suggestions?

but to counter axe... .tk would be just perfect. or anything like it.
for what we need, it's enough.
but we have that login problem, so we need another similar one.

Why not just each donate $1 and buy a .com for yourself at $6 or $8?

because we don't have credit cards. i would buy it myself, but i don't have a credit card. nor do i intend to get one just for this
