What is the best way to upload your template to web host?

what is the best way to upload your template to the host?

FTP up loader ? If so please let me know witch one.

er, FTP. Part of the command line options on my Unix machine. :)
Actually, I use sftp or scp; security is paramount. :)

Would i be able to edit the content of that template online ? if so would i be using the host tools to edit my template ?

FTP for sure, the best free one is filezilla you can google it.

You're just old Daemonguy :D

I connect to my servers using SSH through nautilus. Editing remote files is just like editing local ones - browse to what I want in the file tree and double-click to open. Nautilus can handle pretty much any protocol you can think of.

I edit system files in vi, but no way am I going to edit a 2000 line php file in vi when I have geany.

i all ways liked using FTP commander the free version, it is simple and it works and never fails on most FTP servers.

What about putty :P

what does that have to do with the topic at hand? Managing files over the internet and internet marketing are 2 different things.

The main rule - don't use web applications to upload files to your remote host. Interruptions, time outs could appear. Use FTP client such as FAR or Total Commander.
