What is this file? (It's in every folder in my hosting area). It looks just like a mirror copy of everything else, why does there need to be two copies... could someone explain this for me?

That's related to Front Page extensions that your server must have enabled. I believe that it contains configuration information about your files, so that the Front Page extra features can work.

I don't use Front Page, and I don't know if it's safe to delete if you're not using it. Maybe somebody else can enlighten us. :?

On a follow up note,

If your not actually using the FrontPage extentions portion on your site you may want to delete these extra directories as they take up wasted space on your server.

Oh OK. I am not using FP extentions. I will delete them. Thanks so much for all your info peoples - I probably should have known this answer ages ago but never thought to ask. :)
