what's this on domain name registration?

hi guys, saw this while registering for a domain name

bizarre, which registrar were you doing it through? is it possible someone used the computer to register an account before you?

i find it weird too.
was using godaddy.

then this thing popped up.
scared tha hell out of me!

ive used godaddy so many times and can never recall that happening. make sure your computer is secure and the padlock sign is showing at the bottom of the screen.
out of curiosity, did you continue with the order?

padlock was on.
no i didnt continue with that order. closed the window and started a new one :-)

good-o thats a grand idea. very smart thing.
i'd also drop godaddys webmaster an email and let them know what happened, providing the information you did in this topic so maybe they can see if there is some kind of security glitch.

yeah, that is weird. Have you heard back from them?
Almost looks like they were adding that feature on, and their developer uploaded a debug version of the code or something on accident.

I have used Godaddy alot my self to register my companies an clients domains and cant recall ever seeing that. Odd!! Did you contact them about it?
