When a hosting company (//link removed) offers a free domain name for life, what is your attitude to this offer?
Is it true-to-life?

Unfortunately I can say nothing about this company, but I can draw your attention to //link removed as an alternative. It offers attractive hosting plans and if you buy any, you will also get free domain name for life. Compare their prices and features in the hosting plans and choose the best one for you.

What about //link removed, I will agree, plans at them really attractive. With them it is convenient!

To answer the OP's question - you get what you pay for. If you pay nothing you aren't likely to get much of anything.

For the rest of you, stop spamming your recommendations. That isn't what the OP asked for. The question is your attitude about free offers.

If you can't answer it, then don't post.

My attitude towards that is, "Ph! Yeah right." and move on to a better deal like $5/year or so. I've had my share of "free" stuff

Why Do you think so? The offers which are discussed here, first of all are not just free - you pay for hosting and you get a domain name (i guess marblehost.com is meant and removed?). Its price should be included into the price of the hosting plan, that means you pay for everything at once. There are some free hosts which work better than some paid ones.

Sure, paid hosts and other services are more stable and you have someone to blame in downtime when you pay you can require certain privileges, which are impossible to get from free companies.

And yes -Free means worth nothing.)))

most companies renew the domain you choose (if its free) until you stop renewing your hosting plans with them.

Depends on how long you are going to live, I guess.
