What do they offer? (IE; domains, subdomains, webspace, a price plan, etc.)

I've been looking at Doteasy for awhile and still considering it for a domain, I'd just like to see what everyone is using.

Does anyone use Doteasy? I'm just curious about the disadvantages through all the good things they give.

I haven't used them, but I generally like to avoid the free 'pay to upgrade' services...because your going to be hosted on a machine with a bazillion free accounts.
My sig says it all for my suggestions =)

which site are you referring to? I use my lifetimewebhosting account for almost everything, but I would definately not recommend them. There hosting is great but there databases dissappear for no good reason all the time. Anything that requires databases I host the databases at another hosting account somewhere, or just host the entire site somewhere else depending on how fast it needs to be (remotely hosted databases are SLOW, and if you receive any ammount of traffic they can really p*ss off both ISPs).

The guys I use for my "main" site are http://yrhost.com/ , on the $25 a year plan. I've been with them for 3 weeks now and they're excellent. The other host I use is http://5dollarwebs.com/ , but mainly for my remotely hosted databases.

Host dime is good when it comes to tech support.

I use http://www.powweb.com. they have a 60 gig a month transfer limit which is good since i have a lot of media on my site and i think they give you a free domain name when u register for 1 year.

Strangely enough (or maybe not), I use several different web hosting companies. I have found that not every web host in the world provides everything I am looking for, so I use different ones that excell at different things.

The best host overall I would say is: http://www.1st-amendment.net they provide PHP and MySQL with their lowest plan starting at $2.50 a month. I like the fact you can pretty much host anything you want with them and what I specifically like most about them is that I can pick up the phone and call them anytime and never have to wait on some cheesy phone maze system. I think their main email is sales@1st-amendment.net

I am proud to advertise for these people, check em out.
