Hi There,

I have developed an SOC (Security Operations Center) in PHP and Oracle 10g. It is just an interface for my clients.

I want to host it at my office on my server. But I am little bit confused. Installing Oracle on Linux is the worst thing in the world. (Excuse me, finally i did that.) Now I can install oracle on fedora 9 very easily, thought it depends on the mood of oracle.

I tried the same with Redhat Enterprise Server 5, but didn't work (I should keep trying, it can be done).

What I really want to know is, which Distro I should use for this kind of hosting?

Oracle is good with Fedora 9 (But Fedora 9 is not made to be a hosting server).

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

I'd have thought Unbreakable Linux would be a good place to start, being Oracle's Linux distro.

What do you mean by "Fedora 9 is not made to be a hosting server"? It works perfectly fine as a server OS.
