Ugh, don't plug yourself...such a turn off to your professionalism, do you not realize that? If you resort to fishin around in forums, then I am the least bit interested in taking up your services. Maybe it's JMHO.

Perhaps they will allow you to pay the Resellers bill?
If so bring the account current, back up your database and get your own hosting. Either way you should always do frequent backups of your data. Afterall it's really most important only to you.

PurgeHosting

I found them through a friend and thought I'd try it out. The prices are good and so is the service. I have no complaints about them :)

I also use free hosting from SmokyHosts for testing and storage.

The guy that manages the hosting of my church's site (which I maintain) says Verio is the industry leader. The church site is very basic, but he's an advertising agency CEO and does a lot more complex stuff.

I also maintain an apartment rentals site that is hosted through Yahoo! and it's OK. Yahoo is easy and I've never had any problems.

I'm looking for a host for a couple of new projects and so far Verio has the best offer. But my research is far from over.

I am not interested in a reseller, and I expect to pay $20 a month for a host that has some image gallery tools and will allow more than one site.

Oh, and the whois look-up thingy was a really great tool tip.

Right now I have two seperate hosting accounts with HostingPlex.com, I bought one a while back for $120 dollars a year, but recently they had a deal for $100 just for a few days so I had to get another one. Its a bit more expensive than some other hosts out there but you pay for the service, reliability, and it has a ton of features.
