I'd like to know why Linux and Windows additional IPs differ in price.
I ask as I have seen that in Santrex.net VPS deals.
Their additional IP for Linux costs $2 / month and additional IP for Windows costs $3 / month.
But why?

I think you know that Windows hosting is more expensive than Linux one consequently IPs differ in prices as well. One more thing - all windows VPS from Santrex.net comes with only one IP address.

Well, the price of an IP address has nothing to do with Windows or Linux. :) An IP address is something independent of the operating system entirely. But it does sound to me like Santrex.net is trying to take advantage of the fact that most people expect Windows features to cost more.
