windows to linux server?

I have windows server hosting.
I wanna convert it into linux server.

Is it possible..?

no
i have just purchased the domain name and space..
didn't uploaded anything..
While buying this(domain) i was layman about windows and linux server.

So now i need to change it.
Is it possible..?

You need to call up your host and ask to have it switched. Not all companies will allow you to do so without canceling the account and creating a new one, so be prepared to talk your way through them until they agree to waive any fees.

The matter is not a serious one and usually the Linux accounts are even more affordable and less expensive than the Windows servers. For most websites, the Linux accounts are preferred but for financial transactions and some important database relevant options Windows might be great.
