Hi everyone,

I am redesigning a website for a client that has hosting setup already.
He wants to leave all of his email addresses in place but host the website from my server.

There is an existing www A record in place in his DNS manager, should I delete the www A record and then add my www CNAME record or is it ok to have the 2 www records there?

Thanks 

Hi,
As your client wants his emails to be safe as they are.. Then do not change its MX record. Now As He wants his website to be hosted on your Server, then point its A record on your Server Ip... and change its name servers according on both locations, first on the Server where site is hosted and at its registrar end.
