Hi guys.
I'm a website developer designer from Sydney Australia. Thought I should get out a bit more so I've joined this forum.
My little company specialises in small business websites, so I know a lot about cutting corners.

Hi, everyone!
I'm Iván and I live in Santa Fe, Argentina. I'm a Systems Analyst and have been working as a freelancer for several months now. I also work as a Programming professor at a local University.
I'm 28 and married to Patricia, who's also working on the field, although not as a freelancer.
Other than picking some fights at rogue PHP scripts, my hobbies are watching movies, collecting wines (mostly, red) and practicing TaeKwonDo.
Best regards,
Iván

Hello,
My name is Ray Rippey and just happened across this forum. I am doing quite a bit more in the webmastering area instead of just programming, so I am looking forward to getting and sharing information here.
I program in Clarion for Windows (Soft Velocity). I have a software company with 1 biz partner. We have sold software to Video Rental stores for the last 18 years.
I am going to try my hand at classified sites and am trying to learn about affiliate linking and other little things that will make a little extra money.
I am currently maintaining about 7 web sites... all for free!
I wonder if people get paid for this stuff

Hey Everyone,
My name is Billy and I am a thriving Graphic/Web designer and programmer. I am trying to advance my skills in the programming areas and I plan on having a lot of programming questions but I will gladly give out design help and cool tips for you helping me figure out programming things. I am currently working in Flash using ActionScript 2.0 and having a hard time doing 2 things. I am engaged and will be getting married in Fall of 2008. I have many things on my mind and very busy lots of the time, so I really need quick help from anyone who can, which I very much appreciate in advance.
Thank you for your time,
Billy : )

Name: Phil
Age: 25
I've been into computers since the old BBC's. I started programming on them and soon moved on with new advancements in technologies. I am almost completely self taught. I started to learn C++, HTML and base code (this was taught to me when learning Electronics in the forces). I have even tried an open university course but soon failed due to a lack of work being handed in. Not that I had a problem with it, I just could never find the time to do it. Unfortunately I have pretty much forgotten everything that i've learnt. So, I have to learn all over again.
I live in Newquay, Cornwall, the English Riviera. I've lived here now for 18 years, and couldn't think of anywhere I'd rather live. I'm currently a bus driver but I'm looking into self employment, making money for others has really gotten on my goat, while I struggle to survive on what is considered a good wage here in Cornwall. What people neglect to tell ya is that the cost of living here is about the same as London.
As for my education. Well what can I say really. I left college at 17 not even a year into it. For some reason I just couldn't get on with structured learning, especially when it was something I didn't want to learn. It was going to be a stepping stone to uni so i could be a software engineer. What happened there? I moved through many jobs until i found one i loved in the forces as a training avionics tech, but was forced to leave after 2 yrs due to a knackered knee. I have again found a job that i love to do in Photography. My learning curve is as steep as mt Everest, and want to learn more and more each day. I now want to design and build a website for my business but am not sure in which direction to go. I'm slowly learning HTML again and have thought about Flash and Java.
I'm easy going and even easier to get on with, or so many a friend says so. I believe in giving not to recieve (for myself anyway), so if I can help you with anything i will, asking for nothing in return.
Looking forward to meeting new and wonderful people from around this glorious globe.
Speak to you all soon.....
