I am from the United States now living in the state of Arkansas.
I am somewhat new to web site development, but have been in the computer realm since before computers ( Unit Record Equipment ) and have been through the spectrum of virtually all computer careers. ( Mainframes, Minis, PCs, Local area networks, Intranets, and part and pieces of the Internet. as a programmer, Analyst, Manager, and go-for in all levels) But as a web designer/manager I am a newbie I humbly stand before you with head hung asking that you be kind to an Old timer!
I have a good feeling about this site and some of the people here, so I thank you for letting me in the door. (And do I have some dumb questions for you all !- ie:)
((My first question is - on if there is an automated way to produce a list of (Vehicles) and have the vehicle Name/No. "clicked" upon go to a predefined page in the web site?))
Probably not the best place to post it but couldn't find a "stupid" question section... Help
Thanks, again Bingo...

Howdy,
My name is Bjorn, I'm 26. I run a small web and graphic design studio down in South Australia about 2 minutes walk from the beach. You can check out my website for any details http://www.elementmedia.com.au
I get into any software that will help get a job done, usually the common stuff like Dreamweaver and Flash for web, Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator, 3D and video I use Maya, AfterEffects, Premiere.
I do more of the creative side of things but try to get into a bit of coding where ever my brain can handle it.
Catch ya in the forums.
Bjorn

Hello Everybody,
A little about me:
I live in London, Ontario, Canada where over the last seven years I've been:
a research associate working in R&D for the world leader in ultraviolet light water purification technology
a sales rep for the same company
a sales rep & manager for a computer components manufacturer
Over the last two years I've been working very part time on a web based business that sells water purification systems to homeowners Recently my wife and I had a baby and in Canada I, as the Dad, can take the "maternity leave". So for the last month I've been full time on the web business. I have another 7 months to go. The next seven months are "make it or break it" time for the business so I'll be leaning heavily on the advice I can get here. Thanks in advance for your input.
Reid

Hi,
I'm Tommy. Living in France at the moment. Have had 3-4 years experience in working with Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Photoshop, and am confident with all 3. Mainly work with HTML, DHTML, JAVA and CSS, everything is self taught with after an initial online webmaster course.
Would like to gain more knowledge in perl, php, mysql and others as time allows and to make a small web design business.
Hope to share my limited knowledge, and to gain insight from others.
Cheers,
Tommy.

Greetings,
My name is Travis Walters.
I graduated from Allegany Community College about two years ago. I got 9 associate degrees from there. I could not decide which area of computer science I liked the best, so I decided I would do a bit of everything. I also have a degree in mathematics.
After college, I started doing some freelance work. I did that for about a year. It was really ruff getting started but I worked my way up to about $30 dollars / hour.
All my clients were found through some intermediary company. I started thinking, I bet I could make a website just like this. So my latest project is codebuyers.com. Its going to be a freelance programming website where coders like myself can find work. I have a lot of competition out there for a company like this, but I always shoot for the stars.
In my spare time, I love to bowl. I think I would go insane without it. I am either bowling or working. If there was not so much travel involved, I would do it professionally. I am not up to that level yet but maybe someday. Right now, I only have about a 200 average.
Thats all for now.
Sincerely,
Travis Walters
