my name is celandine and I'm new in the web design game, but hungry to learn. I'm an interpreter by day and a web designer by night, a japanologist by trade and living in serbia. I've just finished a four-month web design course and uploaded my first site to the web, and am still dizzy with excitement (terribly newbie, I know (in case anybody cares to take a look, it's at http://www.celandinewebdesign.com . I'll submit it into the 'site review' section too)

my hobbies include shooting (handguns, at paper targets), swimming, and traditional japanese archery. my obsession du jour is the weighted companion cube from half life - portal (kotaku just posted news that a plush version is out in time for christmas as promised....

this is my very first post, anywhere, ever - so I hope I'm doing it right....
