Hi,

I am not a webdesigner. Just helping out a friend for free develop a online yahoo webstore on frontpage. We have the website developed, just need a expert to blend to white an image we have as the background or backsettting. An example of what we are looking for is http://www.garchen.net/GBI-Shop/index.p ... page=index We have image and site, You need photoshop and skills to put it on our frontpage file. We have not uploaded the site so we would have to send you the files via email, then you back to us. Should not take you long. Will pay, send quote. Small budget.

I wouldn't advise paying to have that done. If you posted in the Webdesign Forum, I'm sure you'd find out how to do it yourself. All it takes is adding a gradient to the image, and then setting the background properties to no-repeat, by putting this between the head tags:

Code: [ Select ]
<style type="text/css">

body {background-repeat: no-repeat;}

</style>
  1. <style type="text/css">
  2. body {background-repeat: no-repeat;}
  3. </style>

And making the background fixed, by adding this into the body tag:

Code: [ Select ]
bgproperties="fixed"

I know. I was just pointing out that is seems like a waste of money paying someone to do it when you could get the answer by posting in the webdesign forum. However, if you're getting money out of it for such a small job, can't complain :lol:
