Is it possible to get Java on Mac? My friend wants to get Java on his Mac but it says that he doesn't need it, but the thing that requires Java isn't working without Java.

Is there a solution for this?

OS X came preinstalled with J2SE 5.0. I don't understand why he thinks he wouldn't need it.

From java.com:

Quote:
Use the Software Update feature (available on the Apple menu) to check that you have the most up-to-date version of Java for your Mac.
I'd love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

Oh ok... I think his is either out of date or he doesn't know what he is doing  (I know I wouldn't know what I am doing with a Mac... I (just like him) only used Windows before).

Thanks UPSGuy...
