iexplore.exe is not in system32. It's in 3 other places.

C:\>dir /s iexplore.exe
Volume in drive C has no label.
Volume Serial Number is BC3E-DE4C

Directory of C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer

08/13/2007 06:43 PM 622,080 iexplore.exe
1 File(s) 622,080 bytes

Directory of C:\WINDOWS\ie7

08/04/2004 07:00 AM 93,184 iexplore.exe
1 File(s) 93,184 bytes

The access denied could be a permissions problem.

Directory of C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache

08/13/2007 06:43 PM 622,080 iexplore.exe
1 File(s) 622,080 bytes

Total Files Listed:
3 File(s) 1,337,344 bytes
0 Dir(s) 54,461,632,512 bytes free

the second error is because iexplore.exe is not in system32

The first line is because you need quotation marks around the path. (any time your path includes a directory with spaces you have to include quotation marks.

To run Internet Explorer from a command line, you don't need to even change directories. Just type this including the quotes
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"

Here's a pretty cool way to run IE from a command line and have it open to a web page of your choice

To get around the white spaces in the path, I use
docume~1 for documents and settings, progra~1 for program files.

Take the first 6 characters and add a ~1 to it.
