Can anybody tell me, is there any remote access software which can connect two PCs running on different platforms, One PC has Mac OS and the other is on windows platform. I want to access Mac PC from windows PC. It means Mac PC will work as server and window PC will work as client PC. Can Tight VNC do this.

Who the heck did you get mas os running on a pc. I think your mixed up. Mac os and windows are totally different. a mac is a mac and a pc is windows and linux. And there could be a way. I am not sure if tight can. Try microsoft remote desktop. They have it for mac os x. My sis has jaguar and she kicked me off the other night remoting in from her room.

I think he means PC in a generic way; as in Personal Computer.

According to this, VNC is OS independent:
Quote:
The VNC package has two basic components: the server component that runs on the machine that is being controlled and the viewer component that operates on the client side. What is really unique is that the server and client DO NOT have to be operating on the same OS...
