IP Address Change

Post May 8th, 2008, 12:43 pm

Not sure if this is the right section of the forum to post in, but whatever.

I need to change my IP address. I've tried multiple methods I found on youtube but they all give me the same IP when it's said and done.

Wondering if I actually HAVE to get my ISP to do it or if someone here can help me out. Thanks.

Your modem accepts IP addresses from your ISP under the DHCP protocol. You have no control over that.
