I wouldnt bother personally, the free version works fantastic, however on the other hand it depends if you have the money or not. I would guess it had extra features which would be useful.

I think with the pro version it updates the reference files automatically and has some funtion that acts as a t.s.r.

well S&D do that already, it directly warns if a website is trying to send some addware or spywares (exept for the automatic update i think)

I could be wrong about the auto update. I havent read the stats on the pro version. Im personally very happy with the free version.

The Pro version of Adaware does have an update but it is not automatic. The Pro version also has Adwatch which monitors your activity and warns you of adware/spyware attempts. It will also block some web sites and pop ups.

i am using them both right now and spybot picks up maybe one or two cookies ad aware overlooks but other then that both are great progs
