Is there a way to distribute or apply Microsoft patches over the network to client computers? We are running on a NT 4.0 domain server. I like to know if there is a better way than to go around each client computer to apply the MS patches they put out.

I am greatly appreciated for any suggestion.

there is, but you need windows 2000 server or 2003 to do it.
Unfortunately, for now, you're stuck doing the "old fashioned way."

Will Microsoft Systems Management Server do it? I have heard that the software can do what I wanted to do. And what about Microsoft's SUS01SP1?

I've never worked with Systems Management Server to tell you either
way, but I think it does what you want. It's functions were integrated
into 2k and 2k3, so pretty sure. I don't know what the other thing is
you listed. Looks like a service pack...

Thanks for the response. I'm testing the SMS.
