Hi all,

In firing up a computer that has sat dormant for a few months, an error message appears, "Auto Detect, Analog Input." It's in a square, black box - smack in the middle of the screen, making it impossible to input any key entries.

Thanks for any assistance,
JP

Can you boot into Safe Mode? Reboot and press F8 during the boot process.

If this is the same error I am thinking about it has to do with the resolution settings. If you can get into safe mode try adjusting them.
