So I normally run spybot and ad-aware to scan for threats; my parents wanted some protection so I went to download.com to get the software. Turns out ad-aware isn't available anymore. I even went to their site to download and it ended up linking me to a bunch of download.com results for the search "ad-aware free"

So, my question is, what free spyware/malware removal tools do you guys prefer/recommend? I've got spybot, and will probably always use them up until they no longer exists, but they still need to be supplimented with 1 more.

I used to use Adaware (which is still good), but now prefer Malwarebytes.
Trendmicro's Housecall is also a good online scan not only for trojans but for malware.

And after all scans, I still run hijackthis because I can normally identify something they miss (however, that's not something that's probably going to be something your parent's will be able to use - takes an expert that knows what they are doing to mess with that one).
