Big Programs: I have No Installed Software :'((
on my only P.c.

I have a lot of stuff instaleld, I even uninstalled a hr ago , it worked fine, but now its empty!! :cry:

Could definitely be some kind of virus/trojan. You didn't uninstall anything through the registry did you?

all I ran was a Uninstall EXE for Ez Messenger, and it didnt work... -.-

edit: ok, now I installed a data recovery thing, it shows up in the list of add/remove, but is only one.. I think, my list was tampered with..

Hey Foxy,

The information for Add/Remove is stored in the registry. You should have some backups available, however.

Boot into dos and enter this:

Scanreg /restore

That should give you a list of recent registry backups. Select one just before your problem started.

Good Luck :)

Edit: I'd unistall that data recovery program before running scanreg. When you restore your registry, it will probably wipe out that programs registry settings since you just installed it. If you want to use it, I'd reinstall after doing the scanreg bit...

too bad I have to delete 1.7 Mozilla since backup had 1.6 :(oh well

*sigh* and there goes Visual Basic 6 enterpreise :/

Glad it worked. :)

Sorry about your other programs though. Mozilla might still function okay but I don't think Visual Basic 6 Enterprise will without the proper registry settings.

Mozilla 1.7 should still be on your system except that you have the old 1.6 reg entries...
