Block website on internet

Dear Friends

I want to know that is there any way to block the website as categorization for example if the website to download music it gives me the message that

"Your request was denied because of its content categorization: "Entertainment;Media Downloads"

so can i do on my home computer that is stand alone pc as i know it is possible on domain

please help
