booting from usb Key

How can I boot my systems from USB key conatining windows XP
My OS is damage and I don't have CD rom drive attached to my laptop.
But I have the windows XP on a USB key. I need to re install OS

Do you mean a USB drive? If so, does the BIOS support booting from an external drive?
