right click the HTML file and hover over Open With, you should see an option to Choose a Default Program. Then select your web browser of choice as the app and click OK.

Is the code being displayed in your browser or in notepad, wordpad or some other text editor?

Have you scanned for a possible virus yet?

I don't know you tell me? I'm offering suggestions, apparently you don't have any ideas so you came here. Just trying to help.

Could you possibly copy/paste the the HTML code you are trying to view?

Try to access the web page with different browser and let's see what happens. You should also make a virus scan using a quality anti-virus software.
