Since you didn't mention your OS, do a search for:

calc.exe

one of the files that gets damaged in the process of slipstreaming SP2 into an SP1 cd is the calc.exe

if it is not an original CD then maybe it is a copy of a CD that was slipstreamed this way
so try to find a good copy of XPSP2

did it stop in the copy process and tell u that there are files missing or corupted ?

I don't know what you mean by corporate edition, all I want to tell you is that cd had been ordered directly from microsoft.

Since you have XP, you can just:

Control Panel >> add and remove programs >> Windows Components >> Accessories and Utilities >> Details >> Accessories >> Details and checkoff Calculator.

Hi, I faced this problem too. I wrote a post on my blog that gives atleast three alternatives ways of fixing the 'calculator and paint missing issue'. Please visit:http://bharathreddyt.wordpress.com/2009/02/25/calculator-paint-missing-in-windows-xp/
