Hi All.
Just bought a 24" LCD monitor and find white pages blindingly white and hurting my eyes.

Is it possible in Windows Vista to change all white backgrounds on Internet sites to gray like this page? I don't want to place a screen over my screen but to alter the background colour.

Grateful for your advice,
Thanks,
sara.

Which web browser are you using ?

Different browsers have different methods and levels of control over webpage styles, I don't believe there is a Vista Default for all browsers though.
Strong with this one, the sudo is.

When i bought my LCD monitor a few years ago it came with a CD which had an application for fine tuning the color settings. Check to see if yours did.

Go here: http://whatsmyuseragent.com/

Paste what you see next to Your User Agent:

It will look something like this
Code: [ Select ]
Your User Agent: Opera/9.63 (X11; Linux x86_64; U; en) Presto/2.1.1
Strong with this one, the sudo is.

Thank you Bozebo,
I opened up the Nvidia control panel but it is too complex for me. I'd be grateful for instructions on what to do. All I want is that all webpages which appear as white appear as grey just like this webpage, I dont want to dull the picture just use a different background colour.
Thanks,
sara. :)
