Are there other websites that you cannot view any pictures or ads on?

I've not messed around with them much, but I know there are third party programs that can completely nix inline ads from viewed websites. Might want to check to see if something like that is not preventing inline advertising from appearing.

In internet explorer, try going to tools, internet options, advanced tab, and click "restore defaults."

I think atno is talking about spyware or something you have installed on your pc. Try downloading adaware:

Make sure you update it before you run it. Also get any windows updates that you need.

If none of this works then maybe try reloading internet explorer 6:

Open your hosts file in Notepad and make sure there is nothing in it besides:
127.0.0.1 localhost

Your host file is located in :
c:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\ (Win2K)
c:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc (XP)

The hosts file has no extension so you will have to browse for "all files" not "txt"

It is possible to prevent advertising from appearing by changing things in the hosts file. SOme people actually do this on purpose to prevent advertising from appearing on websites.

I guess my other question is do you see any other ads where the Google ads should be, or is it just blank and not showing anything?
