Hello there.

The only reason I'm posting in this forum is not because I think the matter fits here, but I thought probably those who have more hability in scripts would know how to solve my problem.

I have this domain, and I can't visit any of its content, including folders and FTP access (I get 530 authentication failure) on my computer. I don't even get google results from it. But everyone else I ask to visit it does it without any problem, I've visited my domain on another computer as well. I've checked if my IP was blocked on the cpanel, and it wasn't.

I'm pretty sure this has something to do with my IP or my internet connection, I share it with two other computers and none of them seem to be able to view it either.

Thanks in advance,

Betina

Moving this to Windows. This is a Windows issue not a programming one.

Check twiztit_mommas problem here You may have a similar issue with proxies. Don't know, but wouldn't hurt to look.

OK -- saw your edit --Now we're talking. Now it sounds like a DNS cache issue. Gotta try and remember how you go about solving that. Anyone else have any recollection feel free to jump in.

DNS cache or router error... You say several other machines are sharing the connection?

Are they all going through a single router? Is one PC acting as a router using "Internet Connection Sharing"? Or something else entirely?

I think if I were in the same boat I'd unplug my router for about 30 secs to a minute and do the same with my modem and see what happens after they reset. I just truthfully can't remember how I cleared it the last time, but I'm pretty sure it's your problem.

Dont know if this is the same deal or not,
I kept getting errors trying to access a domain directly from the system that it was on, yet i could access it fine from 2 other computers all hooked to a linksys router. i started using http://127.0.0.1 as the address i went to and other than being promped for my admin pass every time i reconnect it works without any problems
Strong with this one, the sudo is.

ermm.. 127.0.0.1 is the local host. That isn't a public domain on the internet.
