Cant install Windows XP on my laptop

Sir why my laptop wont accept Windows Xp Operating System? Its Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5882 model. Is it true that this laptop only accept Windows Vista? Please help. Thanks.

afaik it'd be nonsense if it would only accept Windows Vista. Have you tried installing XP on it already?

What errors did you receive? Have you tried a total format of the OS partition and clean install of XP too?

if you are wanting to replace windows vista with XP so clean install XP you first need to go into your BIOS and change the boot order so that your disk drive is first then followed by your hard drive then put the XP disk into your computer and restart. it will then boot the XP disk where you can format your hard drive and clean install xp onto your computer.
