ipconfig /all

which brings lots of useful information which you carnt get within windows.. :arrow:

well i use

ping http://www.dogpile.com

a ton because i will loose internet and i will just make sure that its not the site.

I use
netstat -n
to view which of my port are open and look out for hackers who may be connected to my computer... then after I see their IP's I go to a site and trace then back :D

my command prompt wasn't working for the longest time, then it just started working again out of the blue.

anyways,
tracert, is always a good one
ping, good for checking connection
ipconfig, more network stuff
ftp, simple ftp program, good for batch files
etc. (not a command, just implying that there are some other commands I will use every now and again)
