I tried that, but it didn't complete. It showed this:

"Error: 10-FC10-045D

Yes, that's what I've been getting at. When it asks to repair an operating system, nothing appears in the list.

Check the cable and wiring of your hard disk drive. In my experience whenever windows wont boot sometimes il slave my corrupted HDD to other working CPU then let the working CPU checks and repair the booting process.

Are your important files also in that partition? You will loose them all if they are not in other drive. Try this one. Run your Windows CD/DVD.

Choose Command Prompt, then

Type BOOTREC /FIXMBR (the capitals are for clarity only) and press Enter

Type BOOTREC /FIXBOOT (the capitals are for clarity only) and press Enter.
