IE cut and paste

i cant cut and paste from IE to word, notepad, why is that so? Any views?

Because IE isn't a text editor.

Highlight the text you want to copy and press CTRL+C - this will copy the highlighted text to clipboard.

Then go to your text editor (notepad, Word, etc) and hit CTRL+V - this will copy the text to your editor.
