Hi,

I have a problem I can't find how to deal with.

My default browser is FireFox. But sometimes I need to use IE. The problem is when IE is opened it acts like default browser, e.g. all web links are opened there instead of FF. When I close IE, everything goes well and links are opened back in FF.

This is really annoying. Did anyone handle this?

Is that something new with IE8? I've never seen that before.

Try this

right click on Taskbar select Properties
Click on Start Menu TAB which is in the top most row
Then click on customize
there you can check is it FF or IE
change according to your need and select Apply and OK
