Not entirely certain. However, DLA most likely refers to Drive Letter Access. Assuming you are using Vista, check this information:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/930369

Quote:
This problem occurs because IBM DLA is installed.

Note Sonic DLA has been renamed "IBM DLA." IBM DLA is incompatible with Windows Vista.

If that applies try uninstalling IBM DLA

This is the message word for word (it happened when I tried to open internet emplorer no other program were open except an xwatch accountability software):

Title Sonic DLA

DLA has located files on your disc that are currently in use. To avoid possible data loss, save and changes to open files, close open applications and retry this operation

Thanks,

This doesn't happen to be a Dell PC is it? Why not uninstall Sonic? There are way better burning programs out there. CDBurner XP Pro is free and is pretty good.

I have to agree with Grinch. I've had many issues with Sonic and switched to Nero instead.
