xp doesn't want to reinstall

:( i have a computer which had xp on it and it was jammed everytime i started it it would get in a loop and restart all the time so i formated the hard drive and now i try to install xp again it gives the following error page_fault_in_nonpaged_area then stop 0x00000050(oxe174d00,0x00000001,0x805b6bc4,0x00000001) does anybody have a clue

Possibly defective RAM

:twisted: i got it to reinstall it worked for 2 hours and then it just started doing the same thing again as soon as it gets to the windows page it restarts could it be the hard drive is no more good
