Have you tried right clicking the drive and seeing if Compress Drive to Save Disk Space is checked?

Blue means compression is being used.

As far as your Log goes you can do the following.

Reboot into Safe Mode by pressing F8 during boot. Run Hijack This and select the following and fix.
