Hi,
Everything on my thumb drive was erased after I had to shut down Windows XP Pro after some unknown error? My computer seemed to place it’s self automatically into safe mode. Once I rebooted, I tried to access my thumb drive and it’s now asking me to format my thumb drive? Has this ever happened to anyone before? Is there anyway I can obtain my files or should I consider this another Windows Unknown caused by the piles and piles of bad Microsoft programming?

Thanks,
Andrew

from what I know... solid state storage devices are not affected by magnetic fields so its probly just a driver problem, try uninstalling the device and reinstalling the drivers, if that doesnt work I dont know of anything that will.
